I was honoured to be elected as the first President of Dar Us Salam for the period 2022 to 2023. I accepted and appreciated the trust the family had in me.
During my tenure as President of Dar Us Salam, I have had great pleasure in witnessing how Dar Us Salam was able to financially assist families with pecuniary reversals with success
I attribute this favorable outcome to the cohesive effort of the committee members whose co-operation is truly appreciated in relation to making decisions.
In the same manner, the co-operation given by the Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and the Advisor also merits appreciation.
It is my opinion that Dar Us Salam continues to perform in the future adhering to the methods hitherto adopted as it has established a platform of success,
It is needless to say that Dar Us Salam members/families who require financial assistance must be given priority.
It is my observation that funds should primarily be utilized to providing assistance to Dar Us Salam members/families without venturing into operations or projects outside present boundaries. Maybe when Dar Us Salam attains a greater stature it may be possible to contemplate on extended operations
Generosity is an attribute unstrained. It spouts forth from a heart impelled by compassion towards the indigent.
Those in need look up towards those who can feed monetarily or materially.
The less fortunate appreciate sincere succor with a prayer in their hearts. Charity has a divine quality when it stems forth from pure empathy.
I truly believe that all members of Dar Us Salam are driven by such understanding of human nature.
I am certain that the President and the working committee will take more steps further in order to serve a larger community of members/families in difficulty.
May Allah’s blessings shower upon those who make Dar Us Salam proud of its achievements.
